Although Myanmar is one of the hardest countries to their get traveler’s visa, which is so for a reason – the people of Myanmar want their national treasure to remain untouched, you have a lot of that to see and experience in this Asian country.
One of those Burmese national treasures the people of Burma take pride in is Bagan. Bagan is an ancient royal city located in the Mandalay Region of Burma. During its liveliest days, this ancient city had thousands of Buddhist temples and monasteries within its boundaries. However, today, only 2200 Buddhist temples were preserved on the location of the ancient royal city of Bagan.
