#13 – Wu Chinese (80 Million)
Wu is a gathering of phonetically comparable and verifiably related types of Chinese fundamentally talked in the entire city of Shanghai, southern Jiangsu region, Zhejiang region and bordering communities. Native speakers of Wu are known as Wu peoples. Real Wu language incorporate those of Shanghai, Suzhou, Wuxi, Ningbo, Jinhua, Hangzhou, Shaoxing, Yongkang and Wenzhou/Oujiang. Wu belongs to Sino-Tibetan language family of Sinitic group. Taihu and Taizhou are the Shanghainese dialects and Oujiang, Shang-Li, Jin-Qu and Xuanzhou are the Wenzhounese dialects.
